The Vitality living lab is a regional project with a diversity of partnerships. Involved are the European innovation programme OPZuid, the foundation Stichting Sports & Technology, the Dutch province of North Brabant (Stimulus programmamanagement Eindhoven) and many others. The main objective is to create in North Brabant a globally appealing ecosystem for innovation, start-ups and business development in the domain of sports and healthy, active lifestyles. Interaction Design is pioneering with initiatives within this scope. The time frame of the project is May 2017 to January 2022.
The centre of expertise Interaction Design IXD has dedicated itself to two initiatives of The Vitality living lab: sustainable data systems and experimental innovation. Creating data systems means that we can stimulate and enhance active lifestyles by sharing meaningful information on interactive platforms. Experimental innovation means discovering opportunities and niches where we can create synergy between vitality and digitization.
Interaction Design is working together with The Vitality living lab partners Holst Centre, Innosportlab Sport en Beweeg! and Eindhoven University of Technology TU/e.
